Timeline messages as a source for AI Buddy

Context: Today the AI buddy answers based only on Academy content and documents. Information that has been shared as a timeline post in a community is not part of its sources.

Desired solution:

• The AI buddy should also take posted timeline messages into account as a source, in addition to Academy and documents

• A setting to control which timeline messages are included, with options such as:

  • Important messages only

  • Organization messages

  • Messages from admins

  • All messages

Use case:
An organization shares an important announcement as a timeline post. An employee later asks the AI buddy about it. With timeline messages enabled as a source: scoped, for example, to admin or important messages, the AI buddy can answer correctly based on what was actually posted, while admins stay in control of which content is used.
