Currently, anonymity in surveys is controlled entirely by the survey creator. Respondents have no ability to decide for themselves whether they want to respond anonymously or not.
Impact: Some employees are comfortable sharing their identity with feedback; others aren't. Forcing one mode for all respondents reduces either honesty (if non-anonymous) or the value of responses (if anonymous and someone wants to be heard personally). Giving respondents control increases trust and response quality.
Examples: Exit survey standard anonymous, but if you want it can be shared.
