Sharing training handouts via events with attendance control

After giving a training, I want to share a handout with the colleagues who attended. Since invitations are already sent via Oneteam events, it would be ideal to also share the follow-up (handouts) within the same event, keeping everything centralized in one place.

Current approach:

• Training is created as an event

• Participants are invited via the app

• Handout is shared within the event

What works well:

• Centralized communication (invite + content in one place)

• Easy distribution of materials

• Clear connection between training and content

Limitation:

• Users who were invited but did not attend still have access to the event content

• There is no way to distinguish between:

  • Attended

  • Not attended / not present

• When using events as a presence/attendance list, you cannot adjust access after event is finished.

Desired outcome:

• Ability to manage attendance within events (e.g. mark users as present/absent)

• Option to:

  • Remove users after the event

  • Or restrict access to content (e.g. handouts) only to attendees

• Clear distinction between invited vs actual participants
